After graduating from TED Ankara College, Hilmi Güner received his Bachelor’s Degree from Architecture Department of METU in 1987. After graduation, he participated in a short-term training in Germany related to the planning of satellite towns. He worked at Altay&Altay, Toğrul Devres, Çinici Architects, revolving fund projects within METU Architecture Department, Germany and Saudi Arabia GAMA Inc. He established Artı Tasarım with his two partners in 1992.
Güner, who realized lots of urban design, architectural design, interior architecture design, landscape design and construction projects at home and abroad, won prizes at many national and international competitions. He also contributed to academic environments in parallel with professional practice. He worked as part-time instructor at landscape design studio of METU Architecture Department and Bilkent University Interior Architecture and Environmental Design Department.
He, as Hilmi Güner Architecture he established in 2008, still continues to participate in national and international project competitions with his works at home and abroad in the fields of urban, architecture, interior architecture and landscape design.
